When you think of Hawaii: sandy beaches, cocktails with umbrella's, incredible food, being a part of local culture, and the ocean. Do you think of the water? Do you consider if it's safe or not? What about Red Hill water? Many are unaware of this tragedy that occurred November of 2021. A petroleum release from Red Hill Bulk Fuel Storage Facility (owned and operated by the U.S. Navy) contaminated the Red Hill location drinking water well. Thus poisoning the water system for over 100,000 residents including military families and Hawaiian locals. Reports came in from those who were experiencing medical conditions, only to receive no answers and to suffer in silence.
