Fire departments: we pass them daily. Our kids rush to dress up like them for Halloween and be a hero. They are our first contact call in our times of need, but who is their first call when they are need? After their traumatic calls they take, their moments that stay engrained in their minds. Most feel alone in their struggles, but mental health is an ongoing issue that we need to focus on with our Fire Departments.
