Tatiana Alafouzo, PhD Researcher and Registered Associate Nutritionist, and I talk about our very different experiences with eating disorders (ED) with PCOS. The prevalence for those with ED in PCOS patients ranges from 12-36%, especially with Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder and Night Eating Syndrome (Dokras et al., 2018). Tatiana and I also talk about anorexia and orthorexia, abusing diet pills, mindset shifts and resources to seek help.
Disclaimer: Tatiana and I are not experts in eating disorders, we are just sharing our experiences.
