Jack and Harry get their first good look at the bombed elevator with the trapped passengers. The two climb down into the elevator shaft to examine the trapped car more closely. Jack alerts the passengers that he is from the LAPD, which surprises them. Payne overhears the conversation and considers blowing the brakes.
