Jack informs the passengers that he is getting off the bus, creating some reasonable concern on their part. He and Annie make googly-eyes again before Jack steps off onto an SUV with side platforms -- was that a thing? Again Mac tries to unload the passengers, but Jack steadfastly refuses, much to Mac's consternation. Jack explains his plan -- defuse the bomb. Thank goodness we also get the return of local TV news, this time from several hundred feet and a fence away.
