Dr. Meisenheimer is a Cal Poly graduate with a degree in biochemistry and is back teaching organic chemistry, neurochemistry, and chemistry of drugs and poisons at Cal Poly. She is currently on sabbatical at Vanderbilt University doing research to find new drugs to help treat schizophrenia.
