Hey Spaghetti-Freddy friends—we've got a BONUS ep comin' at ya today! We lovingly refer to this as "Episode 0" because it was a PRACTICE episode we recorded when we first started the pod! 🤠 That's right, it's our first attempt at recording a show together, ever...and it was also Yoli's first time editing a show! Please bear with us, as it sounds a bit rough in comparison to later episodes where (we'd like to think) we get our sh*te together a bit more. 😉 For example, Yoli hadn't picked up her new mic yet, so audio sounds a little tinny. It was our first time, okaaaay? Still, it's fun to reflect and look back on and have a giggle at our newbiness. There is a bit of overlap with some things we cover in Episode 1 (like what is a Spaghetti Western, for example), because this was just a practice ep...and we knew we wanted to cover those basics in Ep. 1, etc. You get the drift...essentially, we're releasing now for a bit of fun and bonus content to tide you over until we dive into Season 2 (coming soon)!
We discuss Sergio Corbucci's film Compañeros from 1970. This film features a loaded cast that includes Franco Nero, Tomas Milian, Jack Palance, Fernando Rey, and Iris Berben. Hope you enjoy it!
