Ep. 147: Scott Crawford (Documentary Filmmaker)
Scott Crawford has spent much of his life devoted to documenting independent culture. His 2015 debut feature-length documentary, SALAD DAYS: A DECADE OF PUNK IN WASHINGTON, DC was critically-acclaimed, receiving accolades from The New York Times, Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, Billboard, Rolling Stone and others. His follow-up documentary, CREEM: AMERICA’S ONLY ROCK’N’ROLL MAGAZINE, debuted at the 2019 SXSW Film Festival and won several awards during its festival run including the “Spirit of Michigan Award” at the FREEP Film Festival. His latest documentary entitled “Something Better Change” premiered at the 2024 Woodstock Film Festival.
