In this episode, the guys get to chat with indie comic book creator, writer, illustrator, and chocolate maker(!) G.E. Gallas.
G.E. has written and illustrated several graphic novels and zines, including "The Poet and the Flea," "The Plague and Doctor Caim," and "Pawn My Soul." We talk to her about her inspirations, art style, and chocolate!
That's right, G.E. is also a chocolate maker with her literary-themed chocolate company Open Book Chocolates. Her newest bar, The Picture of Dorian Grey, which has strawberries and juniper berries in dark chocolate, joins others such as Treasure Island (with rum and coconut in dark chocolate), Sherlock Holmes (with Earl Grey tea and honey in white chocolate), and Alice in Wonderland (with candied rose petals in milk chocolate). You can usually buy these at https://www.openbookchocolates.com/, but she is running a Kickstarter campaign through Sept. 29, 2022, to launch the newest bar: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/gegallas/the-picture-of-dorian-gray-chocolate-bar.
