January 25th 2002. 20-year old Christopher Thompkins was working as a lineman on a survey crew. He was positioned at the end and having a conversation with his coworker who was in formation 50 feet away. His coworker looked away for a moment and when he turned back around, Christopher was gone leaving only his tools and one work boot found nearby. He hasn’t been seen since.
