On the snowy night of January 12th 2010, Joann Matouk Romain walked out of an evening prayer service at her church. Her Lexus was found abandoned in the parking lot. Her body was located 2 months later in the Detroit River. Investigators claim she walked through the snow, then submerged herself into a nearby icy lake. Her death was ruled a suicide. However, Joann claimed she was in danger in the weeks leading up to her death.
