September 12 2019. Officers enter the apartment of 33-year old Brandon Embry for a wellness check. Inside they find his apartment has been destroyed. They find Brandon alive but badly beaten, unrecognizable and unconscious. He died shortly after. The medical examiner ruled his death as pneumonia and self-inflicted injuries. His family is determined to find the truth starting with his girlfriend who has a history of lying and violent, manipulative behavior.
