Dr Will has had to admit he's overtrained himself. This week, Matt and Will dicuss overtraining while figuring out where Will went wrong.
Overtraining is a blanket term that describes an athletes training state in which stress has occurred without adequate rest. Acute overtraining can be remedied with a few days on the couch, whereas chronic overtraining can take months and sometimes even years to fully recover.
