Ida Garcia (She/ her/ hers) MA, LCAT-LP, (Masters in Art therapy and is a Licensed Art Therapist, and is a pre-licensed Drama Therapist. Ida is a Cuban-born actress and drama therapist living in New York. She has a professional career in film, theater, and television. She starred and wrote “Angela”, a short film about her experience as an immigrant in New York City. Ida graduated from NYU's MA in Drama Therapy and is the Co-Artistic Director of the Big Apple Playback Theater. She worked as a drama therapist at Cooke School with adolescents and young adults with special needs. Additionally, she founded Ida Garcia LLC, offering Creative Arts workshops and Creative Arts Nature Retreats.
