Abbi Smithmyer, a PhD student at West Virginia University discusses her work with National Parks and Historic Sites and the need to be honest about history. She received her Bachelors of Arts Degree in History at Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. She recently graduated with her MA in History from West Virginia University this past May.
