My guest today Deborah Thackinh is first generation Laotian. She and her family experienced culture shock when they first came to the United States. She shares how her unique upbringing shaped her early years. Learning about her own values and taking accountability for her own life is not new to her but she was feeling somewhat stagnant in her life. It was then that she knew it was time to get into The Accountability Code. Deborah shares how the program accelerated her progress and how many small commitments that she made throughout the program snowballed into huge leaps and changes in her life.
In this episode we cover:
- Rebelling in a new culture
- Finding your values
- Recognizing patterns that hinder progress
- Clarifying your direction
- When little action steps come together as big results
- Brain-body connection (Page 358 in the workbook)
