Description

Today I spoke with two amazing guests Erin Wood and Lisa Nesper.

Erin has been in the mortgage industry in one capacity or another since 2001. Her career began as a receptionist and she has worked her way up and through different operations, credit, sales, and support positions. In her current role, she is responsible for a variety of things including training/coaching, presentations to borrowers and industry professionals, marketing, operation, and sales support, amongst many other things.

Erin Wood’s personal quote/motto: ‘Life is best lived, working alongside others, towards positive results.’

She is also a licensed Loan Officer in California, although not actively originating. She has completed FNMA Underwriting courses and continually increases her knowledge of finance and real estate.

Lisa has been a Mortgage Loan Officer/Branch Manager for 38 years. She has helped hundreds of families and individuals to purchase a home and achieve their dreams.

Her business is based on referrals, so ensuring her clients are happy with their mortgage experience is a top priority! As a licensed Senior Mortgage Loan Originator and Branch Manager, my mission is a simple one: She starts each day determined to be a full-time, full-service professional dedicated to supporting her clients and referral sources.

She's eager to help you reach your dreams of purchasing a home. She loves working with people and helping them reach their goals and takes pride in her ability to deliver the very best customer service. To her, providing great service means going beyond the basics.

She brings value-added knowledge, education, and experience that ensure her customers the best outcome at the closing table.

She's here to help and just a phone call away.

We discussed the following topics:

  1. The mortgage industry offers opportunities for women to succeed and be rewarded for their hard work.
  2. Interest rates have historically been higher than they are now, and they are expected to drop in the future.
  3. Assumable loans are rare, but real estate agents may mention them in property listings to attract buyers.
  4. The All-in-One Loan is a unique product that combines home financing with personal banking, allowing for interest cost savings and increased flexibility.
  5. Credit management is crucial for financial success, including keeping credit card balances low and paying bills on time.
  6. CMG offers a variety of loan programs, including options for investors and self-employed borrowers.
