After being freed from slavery, Betsey Stockton (1798-1865) made her way to the Sandwich Islands (Hawaii) to serve as a missionary. She thought it would be forever, yet it didn't work out that way. She made an impact through her quiet persistence, determination and love of education that she passed on wherever she could. We hope you enjoy this month's Legacy podcast.
