Breaking News: Jason Hurley and the Meltdown Firebird team are not going to Street-N-Yeet!! This is huge news for Ryan and Tami Hargett meaning that one less competitor is off their list. “The decision has been made, we are not going to street and yeet and therefore are removing ourselves from world championship contention. It’s been a tough decision, but I feel it is the right one for our program.
We are coming out of the season right now in a really good spot to do some work this winter and come out next spring with a hot rod that we can really swing at the fences with next year.
I’m planning to show up some places people haven’t seen us before next year too.”
I look forward to Jason and the team making a serious run at the Championship for 2024!
Also, Aaron Shaffer made a post about 235s in the Southeast Street-N-Yeet Facebook Group. Does that mean he is thinking about coming? If you’d like to see him show up with that new turbo setup, tell him in the comments!! Aaron is a stone-cold killer in the 8.50 class and has said he is making a run at Rowdy Radial classes for 2024. Will this event be the one where he tests out the tires?
