Up on the docket this week is the long-anticipated JOKER, in theaters now. JOKER was directed by Todd Phillips ("The Hangover", "Old School") and stars Joaquin Phoenix, Zazie Beetz, and Robert de Niro.
The movie is based on the titular comic book character, Arthur Fleck in the film. It explores Joker's origins - more specifically how the society around him led to his descent into madness.
Matt and Andrew debate whether the filmmakers have a moral responsibility to prevent real-life violence, Joaquin Phoenix's daring performance, and how much steam it has to go until Oscar nomination day.
