I've followed Greg for a while and I've always enjoyed his demeanor when simplifying complex topics on training, nutrition, and all things fitness. He's a drug-free powerlifter, strength coach, fitness writer, nerd (his words), dog lover, and a frequent shopper of Wal-Mart apparel. He's a smart dude, but it's his wit and dry sense of humor that puts him a step ahead of the others in our field.
I was happy to experience it first-hand in this episode together where we cover a plethora of non-fitness topics, such as: how he got into the fitness industry, how he lives below his means and doesn't care much about money, what he *does* enjoy spending money on, his recent trip to Iceland, his love for food and his all-time favorite meal, and towards the end, we discover two alternative careers that Greg would've liked to pursue in a different lifetime (hint: for one of them, he needs to be about a foot taller). It was a great episode and I don't even think Greg knew what he got himself in to, so I know you'll be as entertained as I was as this conversation unfolds. Hope you enjoy!
