I was recently listening to Joe Rogan's podcast with Navy SEAL Andy Stumpf (linked below) and he gave some incredible advice on what being "mentally tough" actually means. Sure, being able to endure pain and using brute strength is important, but they won't get you through BUD/S SEAL training alone.
Stumpf has gone through the training himself and now he has the honor of being an instructor, which means he also gets to ask trainees why they decided to quit the training after giving up their life for this sole mission of becoming a SEAL. The #1 answer the trainees give for quitting is that they feel overwhelmed, mentally and physically. They failed to do one thing — which is what I go over in this Minisode. Hope you enjoy.
