Description

There’s this new phenomenon in my life where I actually feel compelled to move more. I regularly work out with weights, but it’s not enough. It’s as if my inner athlete is trying to hold on as I get older—I want to run, jump, play, etc. My primal instincts are telling me that I’m getting slow, and when I get slower, there’s a higher chance of me being killed by a predator. I’m not sure what it is, but I know I feel better when I incorporate some type of movement each day and multiple types of movement each week.

I’m aiming to get back to these basics in my workouts: long-duration endurance training, high heart rate training, strength, and speed are my main focuses. In this Minisode, I break down exactly how I plan on doing it on a weekly basis, along with WHY these basics are so important as you get older.
