We all know the feeling of coming home after a long day at work, telling ourselves we're going to hit the gym, but we need to lay down for just a minute. But then that minute becomes five minutes. Then that five minutes turns into skipping the gym entirely. Once again, our self-rationalization and lack of willpower seems to get the best of us, which makes us feel guilty and lazy. I've been a victim of this and so have many of the clients I've worked with, but luckily, there are some ways to combat this repetitive struggle.
