The first of the public impeachment hearings kicked off yesterday with two career diplomats testifying to what they knew surrounding the President's involvement in withholding approved military funding for Ukraine. The Republicans struggled to defend Trump against the direct evidence that he abused the office of the President for personal political gain (again) and decided that, "Hey, since he didn't get away with it, was it really that bad?"
