Wte speak with Chana Gazit, director/producer of the documentary film "The Codebreaker" which airs next week on the PBS series American Experience. It tells the largely-unknown story of Elisabeth Friedman, a talented codebreaker who played a role in the United States' victory in both World War I and World War II. The government's files on her work were classified until very recently.
