From the University of Wisconsin-Parkside: Dr. Peggy James, Dean of the College of Social Sciences and the School for Professional Studies- and Dr. Edward Schmitt, Associate Professor of History. They are both involved in UW-Parkside's Alternative Historical Narrative Summer Program, a 17-day experience for high school students and high school history teachers; it is designed to broaden the participants' understanding of our nation's own history and the players in it.
