This episode was speaking with Ulrick, a Black man who has worked in the space of mental health as a licensed clinical social worker and supervisor. In this episode, Ulrick discussed his experiences of not having his father around and the effects it had on his upbringing between Haiti and the U.S., dangerous situations and empathy in his earlier years, and working intentionally in the Black community to meet their mental health needs.
