For our 30th Session, Early Adopter begins with a lesson in body horror in the Speaking Simulator beta followed by Alex & Getty’s squading-up for the Ghost Recon beta on PS4. News is jam packed between bizarre fast food licensed marketing games, nostalgia fuel, gaming retail failure, and surprise surprise, another oddball Nintendo accessory game. In the backlog blog, Joel gets elbowed-out from discussing his SNES BS so Getty can take a tour of the neon pink painted post apocalyptic dystopia in Far Cry: New Dawn and Alex can detail one of his favorite go-to time wasters in Rainbow Six: Siege. We wrap up the show with a new segment, “Sometimes Dead is Better?”, in which we highlight a dormant game series we want to get a revival of or an ongoing series we think could do well to take a break.
Quick reminder! Extra life is coming up, and we’ll be doing a 24 hour stream on November 16th! Be sure to keep an eye out for more details in the coming weeks on how you can help support our campaign and the cause, as well as see what kind of shenanigans we’ll get into.
