Episode 9, DeJuan Marrero had the opportunity to sit down with my long time mentor who is a East Chicago, Indiana native, Chris Woods. Chris and I discussed basketball, the books he has authored, his hometown East Chicago, and the lifestyle overseas around his error (2002), plus more. He has had the luxury of playing professional basketball in Europe for seven years. Chris played division one at Weber State University and has had the opportunity to play in Switzerland, Iceland, Netherlands, Germany, Finland, and Austria. His current mission right now is to educate, encourage, and empower individuals in the inner city community. His goal is to teach 100,000 students nationwide to write and publish their own books.
