Description

In today's research review we look at the paper: How focusing on Superordinate Goals Motivates Broad, Long- Term Goal Pursuit: A theoretical Perspective .  DOI:
 https://doi.org/10.3389/fpsyg.2018.01879

This paper is a conceptual analysis of the current literature surrounding goal setting and gives a little more than your stock standard SMART goals. Listen hard enough and you can hear the moment that Steve falls off his bike! We talk all thinks subordinate and superordinate and have some reflective chats on when we have used this concept in our rehab and performance programs.
