Ann Dickout of Door of Hope Guidance joins us to talk about the effects of the pandemic on our mental health.
Ann Dickout holds a Masters Degree in Counseling from the International College of Behavioral Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biblical Counseling from Biblical Life College & Seminary. Ann is a Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner certified by the United States Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association. She holds the Victim Advocate Designation from Florida’s Office of the Attorney General, as well as additional training in Domestic Violence Victim Advocacy. She brings over 35 years experience to the field of rehabilitation. Seven of those years, Ann worked as a healthcare provider for the seriously mentally ill, employed with the Mental Health Department of the Northern Health Authority, Fort St. John, B.C., Canada. Ann has spent a combination of 25 years working with the distressed, the homeless, the abused and addicted. She has worked in the courts with felons who required addiction treatment as well as judicial supervision.
