In “The Next Run,” a 60s UC Berkeley student who brings some pot back from Mexico on a lark and ends up heading a Colombian operation with a cargo plane dropping bales to waiting speedboats off the coast of Florida—plus . . . a Mexican operation with six tons at a time crossing the border in semis past a bribed customs officer! Some of this while maintaining a full course load at Berkeley!
