During his last adventure, Shadow obtained a cursed dagger from a hag. To remove the curse, he must secure the blood of an Abishai, a demonic dragon. As luck would have it, a publicly-minded Bronze Dragon, in the guise of a chubby old man, approached Shadow with information that an Abishai was being secretly held for sale near the harbor. While the rest of the Strangesburg team heads to the Food-Mouth to investigate the fished-up triton, Shadow works alongside the Bronze Dragon to track down the Abishai's whereabouts.
