Description

This podcast is about how dangerous and addictive sugar is and outlines how to detox off the sugar drug. Tips to make it all the way out the other side of the addiction are coming soon. Sugar causes leaky gut, which causes inflammation, which causes chronic illness. (Cancer, autoimmune disease, heart disease) Sugar is also GMO, so you get an unhealthy dose of poison every bit. 

Ditching sugar is a huge part of the journey to getting healthy. Unfortunately, when I decided to detox off sugar, I got sick as heck. It was like having a really bad cold or flu. I was in bed for a couple of days with severe body aches and a headache.  But coming out the other end was worth it. Sugar no longer called my name. I am not in the kitchen rooting around for sweets anymore. 

When we are out to dinner, I could care less if we have dessert or can be satisfied with just a couple of bites. I got food freedom, which is wonderful. Whole foods taste so much better. That need for sweets doesn't mask them. When I grocery shop, I can smell the sugar in processed foods, which is not appealing even remotely. It is worth it. 

This show goes through the basics. It helps to partner with others to get through to the other end, or you can do this yourself. In January 2021, I am going to run a group sugar detox. After the holidays. So if you need support, we will do it together.
