In 1 Chronicles 12, the nation of Israel rises up in support and encouragement of David as their king. David is surrounded with a huge loyal army. They see David's faithfulness and that God's hand is on His life and they like what they see. They join God's team and God's anointed king. God's perfect timing has arrived and the army is prepared for battle. They were a mass unified army for God's purpose and plan through David. Today, if you are a Christ follower, we too are called and commissioned to be part of God's united army fighting the spiritual battle with the one same enemy - Satan - and reach more Christ followers to make His Kingdom full and His current army even bigger. We need to keep our battle armor on and strong by meditating, consuming, and living out the Word of God in our daily lives. We need to stay in continual prayer and intercession with our amazing Lord and Savior. He fights the battles and He has all power. We can trust Him as we continue. We need to continue to support and encourage each other in the battles. Like Jesus said in John 17, the world will know us by our love and unity. We love God and we love each other with all our guts as, together, we unify and join in the battle against Satan and all his evil minions. He's already been defeated and it's only a matter of time before he is bound once and for all.
