In 1 Chronicles 15, David still desires to move the Ark of the Covenant back into Jerusalem, but this time, he desires to do it precisely and exactly how God directs it to be done. He meticulously follows God's instructions and does exactly as the Scriptures declared for the task before them. This time, they get it right and respect the holiness of God. In the process, they worship Him and celebrate joyfully before Him as they experience His presence. God wants us to know Him personally and intimately, worship Him sincerely and honestly, and experience Him fully and wholly. He doesn't want a religious routine, He wants our hearts. He wants a sincere relationship with us, not a religion. He wants us to be free to dance in and with Him in all of our days. He wants us to enjoy His presence in all we do in and out of our routine and non-routine moments alike. No matter where we are or what we are doing, we should never allow anything to get in the way of our dance with God.
