In 1 Chronicles 16, David bursts into a song of praise to God for all of His wonderfulness. He praises, worships, and gives great thanks to God for who He is, all He's done, and all He continues to do. He gives God thanks for His never-ending love, strength, and saving mercy and grace. He danced before God freely, sincerely, passionately, and whole-heartedly. David was willing to dance. He didn't sit in a window trying to judgingly control the environment from afar. He dived into God deep. He sought the face of God. He wanted to know God and chose to seek God and God met Him. He experienced God. God wants us to seek Him. He knows each and every one of us. He created us and He desperately wants us to know Him too. He wants us to experience Him fully and intimately. He wants us to dance - freely - in Him through all our days.
