In 2 Chronicles 11 & 12, Rehoboam walks away from God so God lets him have is way and the whole nation crumbles. Nothing in the entire cosmos can or ever will separate us from God's love, but sin will separate us from His presence. Sin is harmful to us in every way. It is harmful to our soul, spirit, body, and to those around us. Jesus came to earth and gave us the remedy we need for sin - Himself. There is no sin too big that He cannot and will not forgive. He's already forgiven it, we just need to choose to repent, humble ourselves honestly, sincerely, and wholeheartedly before Him, and accept His eternal forgiveness. He died for the sins of the whole world. Nothing is too big for God and nothing surprises God. Through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross and His resurrection from the grave, we can receive life eternally with Him. We just need to be honest and take responsibility for our sins before God. Bring them to the Light of God so the devil can't torment you in the dark any longer. Confess and repent. Turn from it and run to God. Whatever it is. We need to continually ask God to search our hearts, souls, and minds for anything not of Him or His will and repent quickly once revealed. Then we thank Him for His revelation, cleansing, and forgiveness and keep passionately running forward in Him and all that He wants to pour through your life for His glory and His eternal Kingdom.
