Description

In 2 Chronicles 21 & 22, Jehoram takes over as king when his father dies. Through his wife, Satan breathes evil into the kingdom of Judah. Revival had broke out and Satan was not happy about it and tries to halt the lineage of David and the coming Messiah through this line. When he dies, his son takes over as king and is ruled by his mother - the same woman who continues breathing evil into the nation. He only lasts a year and there's no king so she just takes over the kingdom herself. She even kills all the potential kings - including her own grandchildren - to make sure it happens. There was one baby her sister bravely hid away though. Hope was still present - revival was only an infant away. When Jesus died and was buried, hope was lost. The people didn't realize He was still present. He was hidden away, but He was there - very much alive. He rose again just as God promised He would so that we can put our faith and trust in Him and share in eternal Life with Him forever. God wasn't nervous on either occasion. He knows all and His will comes forth in spite of anything we think or do. He is not only the maker of promises, He's the keeper of promises. No matter how evil the world around us may seem at times, we can trust faithfully in our Lord - our Savior. He has been in each of our tomorrows and we can choose to continually stand firm in Him faithfully no matter what. He will never fail us.
