In 2 Chronicles 30 & 31, Hezekiah restores God's calendar - God's heartbeat - to the land. Worship is restored and revival continues. He sends messengers out to invite all the tribes to return to the Lord and return to worship of the Lord. Some laughed, but the messengers didn't stop the mission. They kept running with the message - the invitation - to turn from sin and humbly turn to God instead. Some accepted the invite and joined, uniting in the worship celebration - in one heart - and even more revival continued. When they returned home, they lived like people who had met the Lord. We are the messengers today. People may laugh or reject the message, but we must keep getting the invitation out. Jesus died for everyone hoping we'd repent and faithfully trust Him with our lives. He doesn't want to lose a soul, the message must continue. If we believe the Word, we are to live out the Word in our lives in wholehearted devotion to our Lord, our Savior. He is worthy of all our hearts and lives. He is worthy of our wholehearted praise.
