In 2 Samuel 23, we see David's last recorded words. He honors God and gives God all the glory for all the victories in and through his life. He was overlooked by his earthly father but he was anointed and put in place by God. God anoints who He chooses. God raised him up to royalty yet he remained humble and repentant before God. He had a vast crew of mighty men with him in the battles. He was not alone. We are never alone. God has a master plan and will bring it forth, even through all the messes we make along the way. God equips people to bring forth His plan of establishing His eternal Kingdom. Jesus is the eternal King and when we accept Him as our Lord and Savior, we are a part of royalty. God is revealed on earth through us. We are His heirs and we are family in His Kingdom. We are His plan for His story and the expansion of His eternal Kingdom. We are His plan "A".
