In Acts 4, the rulers, elders, and scribes assembled to question Peter and John. Peter didn't answer them in his own strength or wisdom. He responded by the power and wisdom of the Holy Spirit within him. The religious leaders quickly realized Peter's boldness was a result of Peter being present with Jesus and they were left speechless. When we choose to repent and surrender our hearts and lives to Jesus as our Savior and Lord of all, through the power of the Holy Spirit within us, we have the authority of Jesus to bear witness to Him, for Him, and for His great glory. Jesus will equip us for anything and everything He brings us to. He will bring us through. When we are weak, His grace is strong. When we spend time with Jesus in prayer, in worship, and in His Word, He transforms us from the inside out. He brings us to our very best. We can rest in His promises and be ready for anything that may come knowing Jesus is present. We can walk in radical faith trusting Jesus for every outcome.
