In Deuteronomy 23 - 25, Moses reminds God's people that God loves them and has turned curses into blessings in our lives. What the enemy meant for evil, God turns to good for His glory. Jesus conquered sin and death on the cross and took the wrath of God's punishment for our sin onto Himself in our place. We are not to live trapped by sins, we are free. God hates sin and gives us His strength to run far from it. The same power that raised Jesus from death, resides in us when we accept Him as our Lord and Savior. Moses lays out guidelines for daily living situations that may come up and the character of God is shown through the emphasis he places on retaining dignity, care, and compassion for people. God is compassionate, caring, and loves His children beyond comprehension. We can trust Him. Even when every single circumstance that surround us look defeating, we can stand firm on God's goodness. God is good regardless of how we "feel" and what all the things going on around us look like. God sent Jesus, we have a Savior, and He is so so good.
