In Exodus 7, Aaron throws down his staff in front of Pharaoh and it turns into a serpent. The magicians then turned their staffs into serpents too but Aaron's staff swallowed up all of theirs. Satan tries to mimic God and tries to trick us into believing false gods and idols in our lives. God is the only true God and is greater than anything. God should remain the greatest thing in every area of our lives. God brings the 1st of 10 plagues. The Egyptians refuse to repent and turn to God and are about to be completely plagued because of it. They turned the Nile River into a false god named it Hapi. The Nile was their lifeblood but God turned their lifeblood into literal blood. All the water sources were turned to blood for seven days. Pharaoh challenged God before when he asked "Who is the Lord and why should I listen to Him?" God is about to answer that question and show him exactly Who He is. God wants the Egyptians as well as all of us to know God, know He is God, and know He is present.
