In Ezekiel 31 & 32, God gives Ezekiel a comparison between Assyria and Egypt. Assyria was a great nation because God made them great. They did not honor God and were proud, arrogant and wicked. God humbled them through the Babylonian army who conquered Assyria. If the Babylonian army can conquer Assyria, it can conquer Egypt as well who is just as prideful, arrogant, and wicked. God humbles the proud and after His judgment falls, peace comes. Jesus is returning with Jesus judgment is coming. The proud will be humbled and sin will be dealt with once and for all. If we choose Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we are safe in His arms and will not be considered an "outcast" by God. Instead we are His sons and daughters and will be welcomed home with great celebration.
