In Ezekiel 6 & 7, God warns of the coming judgment. They are currently in Babylonian exile and he says to get comfortable because it will be a while since they refuse to repent and turn from false idols and sin in their lives. He is going to wipe out all the idols and all the people will know God is the one true God. There will be a faithful remnant that repents and mourns for the sins of the people. There will be no where to turn to escape the judgment of God, but the faithful remnant will be saved. They will remain secure in the folds of His inner robe, safe in His arms for all eternity.
