Description

In Genesis 50, Joseph mourns the loss of his father alongside his brothers. His brothers freak out and think that now that their dad has passed, Joseph will get back at them for what they did to him so many years ago. Even though it has been 17 years since Joseph forgave them, they still don't fully trust his forgiveness. They limit the forgiveness of their brother. Joseph reassures them they are truly fully forgiven and that what they meant for evil, God used for good and saved thousands of lives. Jesus forgives us to restore us as well as restore our fellowship with God. We should never limit God's forgiveness in our lives. We see life from the bottom up, but God sees life from the top down.
