In Isaiah 31-33, Isaiah concludes his oracles and warnings of coming woe for not repenting and turning from sin to God and for not faithfully trusting in God. God calls for His people to pay attention to Him and stop being complacent. He calls for obedient faith. He gives hope that the day will come when evil is done and over as His faithful remnant stand firm in confident and expectant prayer. God reiterates His authority and makes it clear that He will be exalted and everyone on earth will know who God is. God lets His people know He will provide for us and He longs for us to live righteously. He will protect us and carry us through the valleys we face. Jesus is coming again and He will be victorious and bring eternal peace and restoration when He does. We are called to faithfully stand firm while we wait and spread the amazing news of His salvation, glory, and awe to everyone around us as we do.
