In Isaiah 45 & 46, God speaks of reformation and restoration after exile and speaks of Cyrus by name as the one who will free His people from exile. God has a plan - even if things aren't fully in place yet - and He will bring it forth. He knows all our tomorrows and wants us to trust Him with our lives. He wants relationship with us and wants us to know He is God. He is in control. We can trust Him. He does not change His mind about who we are and who He made us to be and what He wants to do through our lives if we'll choose to allow Him. We don't command God, He commands all. We don't carry God, He carries His people. He is God. He calls us to pay attention, let Him lead, and trust Him.
